After consulting my dentist, she recommended veneers, but due to whitening sensitivity for the lower teeth, I was referred to their prosthodontist to discuss no-prep veneers. I was then told I needed a full set of crowns for my upper and lower “smile” teeth. I have GERD and consumed a lot of soda in my youth. And Also a grinder (but use a night guard). I consulted another dentist who thought that what I’d been told was absurd. Im confused. Are crowns really necessary for all of my teeth?
