I'm getting dental implants soon and am wondering about the flipper and it's appearance and reliability. Thanks
Answer: Do teeth flippers look natural? It's a temporary removable appliance and has it's limitations, but they can be made to look pretty good and serve their purpose. Flippers are not very strong and we advise against biting on hard foods, or sometimes patients even take them out and eat without them. There is another treatment modality that may work for you and might be more esthetic than a flipper - "Snap-on-Smile".

Answer: Short answer: yes A flipper can be a great placeholder for people waiting on an implant or other prosthetic tooth. It will make your smile appear natural without people noticing your missing tooth, and thankfully it’s only temporary. You’ll find it doesn’t quite function like a normal tooth, but the goal is to maintain your appearance and the space needed for the treatment.

Answer: How natural a temporary partial denture can be There are several factors that influence the appearance and comfort of a temporary partial :1) Your bite ( how your teeth come together)2) Position of the teeth an clasps3) The competency of the lab technician4) The expertise of your dentistI an ideal situation , all four factors above are in your favor and so the Flipper can look very natural. However, it is still a "temporary Fix" and it can never be the as good as a permanent restoration. So, this too shall pass. Hang in there...

Answer: Do teeth flippers look natural? Flippers ( plastic removable partial dentures) usually look very natural. Using a good lab makes a big difference. Generally the problem with them is in chewing. In this respect they are not that effective. The good news is that you are getting implants and will have an excellent final result. The flipper is a transitional stage and will have an end point.
