Yesterday I had my first Vanquish ME tx and it was quite painful during the process. Afterwards my back and hip bones hurt. Today I have a huge swollen right flank (size of a fist) and am concerned. Can an inexperienced provider create harm? The DR didn't perform the tx, it was a newer employee. Should I be worried about how swollen it is? I paid $5900 in advance and don't know if I should continue the treatments.

I start my AB etching patients 1 week after on vanquish and cellutone. You should be able to see the results at this time though if someone is a true vaser 4D contouring specialist. Best, Dr. Emer.
All non invasive technologies can form lumps of swelling that will go down within 3-4 months. Massaging the area daily may help dissolve the lumps, cellutone will help as well. This shouldn't be permanent and often gives you a better outcome long term. Best, Dr. Emer
