Typically, redness after a ViPeel shouldn't last beyond 7-10 days after application. Keep in mind that a ViPeel is much stronger than a normal chemical peel, it's a medical-grade peel. It's important to keep your skin hydrated and avoid sun if possible. I'd also encourage your to discuss it with your provider if the redness continues.
I recommend following up with your practitioner about aftercare recommendations. We have a strict post peel regimen for patients and it has a more significant post healing moisturizer, b5 and C serums and growth factors. PDT therapy can calm inflammation. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Hi, thank you for your question! The healing time after a VI peel can take all the way up to two weeks. I would recommend keep the skin that is dry moist with aquaphor to help with the healing process. The redness can be a prolonged reaction after the peel which may take up to 2-3 months to fully heal. I would recommend following up with your provider.
Love the VI Peel. The redness will go away. I typically see the most peeling on days 4 and 5, but redness can continue up to a week or more. I usually tell me patients to grab some aquaphor at their local pharmacy to protect there skin. Stay hydrated and protect your skin with sunblock as well.
thank you for your question. typically the skin returns to normal after 8 to 10 days. if irritation persists beyond that, contact your provider.

Thank you for your question. even if the peel is applied later in the day, the peel should still be washed off after 4 to 6 hours.
Thank you for your question. yes 3 to 4 passes is ideal but depending on how your skin reacted to the application, the provider may have felt that 2 passes was enough. a stinging sensation is normal but if the skin was frosting (looks like a white substance on the outer layer of skin) or was...
