Hoping to identify what this is and why it's growing. Dimple (hole) is getting bigger. No trauma to area or recent injections. Getting concerned because the size is only getting bigger.

I would go with dimples first for several reasons. One is your anatomy will be intact before the braces , two is because it's annoying to work in the mouth with braces and having the suture or the sponges catch on hooks. Wait at least a month or two before getting braces.
