Hello, 4 months and 2 weeks ago I received Juvelook biostimulator with canula all over my face in cheek area, under the cheek, jawline and temples. I hate the result as it’s added too much volume to my face. Can there be anything done to reverse the result or to prevent further growth? I’ve heard radiofrequency could help to degrade PDLLA particles quicker? Is it true? Or is it gonna stimulate more collagen growth? What can be done please? I really hate what it’s done to my face Thanks for help!
Answer: Juvelook and to reverse its results. Hi Kylie25. I am sorry to hear that you are not happy about your Juvelook procedure. First of all how many times did you get injected? And I am assuming it was Juvelook volume? (since Juvelook for intradermal injections - skinbooster, wouldn't be used with a cannula and also have the volumizing effect.) And you are correct RF, HIFU may help dissolve the PDLLA particles faster. But just in the beginning. However it has been 4.5months since your procedure so it may be your newly synthesized collagen tissue (if this is the case it will dissolve on its own in a few months or more.) OR nodules / granuloma formation... ( so if that is the case there are ways to make it smaller.) I advise you to go to a professional DOCTOR and get an examination / ultrasound done in person. I hope this helped and good luck!

Answer: Addressing Concerns and Reversing Effects of Juvelook Biostimulator I'm sorry to hear about your dissatisfaction with the results of the Juvelook treatment. Juvelook is a biostimulator that contains poly-D-l-lactic acid (PDLLA), which works by stimulating collagen production to enhance volume and skin texture. Here are some considerations and potential options for addressing your concerns: Time and Natural Degradation: Over time, the effects of biostimulators like Juvelook typically diminish as the body gradually absorbs the product and the stimulated collagen. Patience can sometimes be the best approach if the volume is expected to reduce naturally. Radiofrequency Treatments: Radiofrequency (RF) treatments can help in breaking down the PDLLA particles more quickly. RF energy can heat the deeper layers of the skin, potentially aiding in the degradation of the product. However, it is essential to consult with a professional, as RF treatments can also stimulate further collagen production, which might increase volume if not carefully managed. Consultation with a Specialist: It is crucial to consult with a dermatologist or a cosmetic specialist experienced with biostimulators. They can assess your situation and recommend personalized options, which may include non-invasive treatments or, in some cases, surgical intervention if necessary. Avoiding Further Stimulation: Until you can see a specialist, it might be best to avoid treatments that could potentially stimulate more collagen production, such as microneedling or other biostimulatory procedures. Follow-Up: Make sure to follow up with the practitioner who performed the initial treatment, as they can provide insight into the expected progression and any additional treatments they might recommend. Ultimately, a specialist's guidance will be vital in determining the best course of action based on your individual circumstances and desired outcomes.
