How to remove scar tissue from lip filler?

Question

Decided to get my lip fillers dissolved but after doing 3 sessions of hyaluronidase my top lip won't go back to original size. My injector told me there's isn't any filler left and it's probably scar tissue from filler. It's there any way to treat the scar tissue and go back to my original small upper lip? I had 2ml in the lips

Dear LylaLuna,
The critical information that you have not provided here is the timeframe of all of your treatments.  Your injector must not be a physician, or they would know that HA in and of itself does not cause scar tissue.  I guess it's possible that multiple needle injuries could, but not highly likely either.  You may need to just give it more time.  Both HA and scar tissue will absorb, or remodel over time.
