Does Moxi work on men?

Moxi is a light laser and helps with pores, we love it every 4-8 weeks along with peels between at home peels like cosmelan, enlighten and aerify along with dermarolling (MTS roller with anteage MD ampules weekly, see link) should be started now to prevent further aging. The laser itself does not impact facial hair follicles or beard growth. The sooner you start Moxi treatments, the better because it’s considered a prejuvenation treatment and reverse the signs of aging and sun damage before they form.

Hello and thank you for your question. Moxi is safe for men with facial hair and has no impact on hair follicles. Moxi is a non-ablative laser that provides preventative skin care, rejuvenation, and resurfacing with little to no downtime.

Moxi is a perfect choice for a male patient. Most importantly, there is no downtime, and you can return to work, excercise, and enjoy outdoor recreation (with sunscreen) immediately after treatment. As a facial plastic surgeon, I am able to have a moxi treatment over lunch, and see patients in clinic that afternoon. The laser targets water, and has no effect on hair follicles or beard growth. This means that is is a great choice to gently resurface men's facial skin. Ask your doctor about some studies which show a benefit to increasing hair growth when used on the scalp as well.
