My tooth gap is one of my biggest insecurities, I hate it a lot. I herd braces worked, but they cost so much money.. I don't want to put my mom through that. Is there a way I could do it at home? Or any way at all? I just want it gone.

There are many solutions for closing unwanted space between the teeth; braces, Invisalign, or dental bonding.  None of these treatments can be done without the orthodontist or general dentist.  It is best to schedule an appointment with your doctor to discus which treatment plan is best for you as well as financing options.

You have several cosmetic dentistry options.Bonding is the quickest form of dental care to close your gap. This works better the smaller the gap is. A larger gap requires your dentist to make the tooth wider to closer the gap. This may throw off the tooth proportions, resulting in what may look like short fat teeth.Veneers are a form of cosmetic dentistry that may require a small layer of your tooth to be shaved down. A porcelain shell is then fixed to the tooth. Veneers allow the person delivering your dental care to precisely control the width, height and contours of your teeth. This results in a very estheticly controlled look.Braces may be able to close the gap and will keep your teeth natural. My favorite option for esthetic orthodontics is Invisalign. Invisalign uses clear plastic trays to gradually move your teeth to the desired position. In order to determine which restoration is right for you I would suggest finding a dentist who is capable of delivering these three forms of dental care. Talk with him/her to determine your dentistry options and which is best for you!
