Today I was scheduled to get attachments and IPR (tray #3). My orthodontist was on vacation and his colleague decided to postpone the IPR by 8 weeks (I am on a 10 day schedule). He said that, because there is so much to remove (0.4 to 0.5 mm on several teeth) I will be more comfortable if for the moment I just get used to the attachments and then we do the IPR later. I worry that the aligners were designed to have the IPR done today - wouldn't that cause problems with fitting etc.?
