I had done my peel on Saturday evening i.e on 18th of this month after my 50% glycolic peel my face specially my cheek it looks as if it is burned It is dry n itchy Is it normal or m I suffering from any infection I had consulted my demartologist He told me to apply fucidin ointment on the affected area and prescribed me with tresmox lb 500 How much time it will take to recover completely as I have to attend my office ASAP

Hi  yes it is post chemical peel burn injury,do treat it with steroid cream for local application ,bland moisturiser and ice cold compress ,of most important is good sunprotection with a broad spectrum sunscreen.do not pick the scabs .let it heal on its own,in the mean time do consult a dermatologist and remember always get a chemical peel done under medical supervision .

Why in the world are you putting acid on  your face at home. this should be done by a professional. at any rate for now apply cool compresses followed by 1% hydrocortisone cream twice a day and from now on see a medical professional for medical procedures
