Can melatonin influence hair growth? Will it counteract laser hair removal?

I read melatonin influences hair growth (such as a topic cream shape). So can i take natural oral sleeping pills of 1,9mg pure melatonin or would pills also counter a laser hair removal treatment? Thank you!

Using retinol on areas you are not having treated with laser hair removal is considered safe. Patients should discontinue retinol use in an area they would like to have treated with laser hair removal a week before the treatment.
