Fraxel for dimpleplasty scars?

Hello I got dimpleplasty a few years ago and was wondering if there’s anything to fix the scars from it? The scars are basically indents on my face almost like acne scars. I’ve had microneedle with prp and chemical peels to no avail. I just had a consult with a derm and she said that fraxel would work on the cosmetic scars but that it might also reverse the surgery bc it also targets scarring under the skin. Please advise tyia!!

Unfortunately, I am not at all surprised by the lack of success with chemical peels and microneedling, both of which are best reserved for treating more superficial surface color and textural irregularities, rather than indented scars. Nor am I surprised by the lack of success with PRP, since the hard science to support the use of this relatively expensive modality, despite the marketing hype and social media buzz, lags well behind all the hype. The same can be said for the use of the expensive "bells and whistles" light and energy-based devices, like fraxel lasers and RF gizmos, that will no doubt be hawked to you in your quest to find the best treatment for your scars. 
Simple subcision, on the other hand, which I have been performing for thirty years, has a several decades' long proven track record for safety and effectiveness for elevating and smoothing all kinds of indented scars, from all causes, in all skin types. You would be wise to consult with a board certified cosmetic dermatologist scar treatment expert and best of luck.
