In our practice we use the Cutera Enlighten laser for tattoo removal. We can fully remove all tattoos all colors from all skin tones with our Enlighten 3. It is the number of number of treatments required that will vary depending on the type of ink used, depth, colors and age of the tattoo.

Pico Enlighten is the best for tattoo removal. There are settings for to break up dense tattoos.
You should wait one to four months after you got it to start the removal process.
Keep in mind, the older the tattoo, the better for optimal results. Most black dense tattoos can take up to 10 treatments. This can be spaced out 10-12 weeks apart for best results. Pico is a sound-based laser, it works with your lymphatic drainage system, this is why the length of time is long in between sessions. The longer you wait, the more it fades during the process. It is a long process, but it's worth the results.

The pictures appear to be of one color ( although multiple colors are included to make this color), and fairly straight forward for Picoway tattoo removal. There is no way to know how deep the ink goes into the skin before starting the treatment process, which even with white skin takes many sessions to remove the ink. In my experience local anesthetic or digital blocks should be used in order to do adequate treatment with multiple passes in a single session, cooling the skin between passes. Tattoo removal with proper settings is painful without adequate local anesthesia and topical ointments are woefully inadequate to provide proper anesthesia for tattoo removal. There should be lightening of the lines with each treatment. If after several treatments there is absolutely no further lightening then the ink may be too deep for the laser to reach.
