So I have done 4 laser treatments on this tattoo and have seen little to no progress. I am now considering getting the tattoo surgically excised. I found a doctor who specializes in tattoo excisions and he told me can do it in one go but since it's on my upper arm/ shoulder area the scar can be bad. Is this a bad idea? He said it's hard to have a clear idea of how I will scar since everyone is different but I scar generally well. I want this tattoo gone but I don't want to have a terrible scar.
