Fillers are generally injected into the deeper layers of the skin. CO2 lasers target the top half and outer layers of the skin. With that being said, CO2 lasers do generate heat which could potentially affect the underlying fillers and can potentially cause them to dissolve and resorb quicker. For this reason, it is recommended to wait at least 1-2 weeks before or after fillers before performing any laser treatments to the face. I hope this helps!

Procedures are spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart. Following normal reactions such as redness and swelling are observed. However, I will check for a variety of complications that may occur. While the treatments do produce amazing results when used together, a four to six-week break between each treatment is oftentimes recommended for optimal results. For best results, the laser treatment is done first, followed by the dermal filler.
