Will 1000 units of Botox on the face cause me to gain weight?

Would 1000cc of botox cause weight gain? If so, is the weight permanent or until the botox wears off?

If you were told “1,000 units,” clarify exactly which product was used, how many units of that specific product were injected, which facial areas were treated, and whether the number referred to units or volume. A change in facial appearance after Botox may reflect temporary muscle relaxation, altered facial expression, swelling, or normal changes in weight, but it is not Botox-related body-weight gain.

If you have already received treatment and develop generalized weakness, trouble swallowing, difficulty speaking, shortness of breath, double vision, or drooping eyelids, seek urgent medical evaluation. These are uncommon but important potential toxin-related symptoms.

Receiving 1000 units of Botox would be a significant amount.  Is that perhaps a typo?  Botox does not contribute to weight gain.  Botox wearing off does not lead to weight loss.  I hope that helps.
