I’m 32 years old, and just within the last year have noticed a dramatic deepening of the left side of my smile lines. They only appear when I smile, and they aren’t the creases around my mouth but more so sides of chin/cheek. I am desperate to find something to improve this! Would cheek filler lift this area?
Answer: Sculptra for Cheek Volume Loss Hello Lyss. The photos show pretty clearly that your left side area right above the jawline is losing volume compared to the right. Everyone has some asymmetry so what you are experiencing is very normal. There are a good number of options including traditional filler, but for a larger area like this, we prefer Sculptra as it is not a filler, but rather gives you back your OWN natural collegen to replace fat and collagen loss. It is an extremely natural looking and long lasting (3-5 years) volume replacement option.

Answer: Improving Deep Wrinkles -- Botox/Xeomin/Dysport/Jeuveau, fillers, fat, RF treatments, Ultherapy, Renuvion, lasers, Sculptra A combination approach would give the most improvement. Deep wrinkles and smile lines can be improved with a combination of Botox and/or fillers for the lines themselves and to build anatomical support with Sculptra for collagen building. Ultherapy is a great skin tightening device, but works best in combination with other treatments like J Plasma, RF treatments, lasers, microneedling/PRP, salt facials, Cosmelan for skin tightening and improve skin tone. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Cheek filler Hello! Cheek filler can be used to help lift and relieve some of the pressure that results in the lines you are complaining of. Additionally, filler can be added directly into those lines as well. An in-person assessment with a provider is the best way to determine your treatment course.

Answer: Nasolabial folds The left side of the face is anatomically narrower than the right and as a result the nasolabial folds and Marionette lines are also deeper on the left side.My recommendation is to very carefully place some filler together with some twisted PDO’s for reinforcement and stimulation of collagen, elastic and hyaline tissue along the angle and body of the mandible. The angle of the mandible may also need to be reinforced if necessary. Care must be taken not to involve the perioral musculature. No attempt should be made to alter the muscles of oral expression.
