About a month ago I was attempting to hot compress a zit in between my eyes and I accidentally burned myself. It has been about 3 weeks since the scab came off and all that is left is this red/pink skin with no sign of getting better or starting to fade. So is there anything I can be doing to help speed this process up or minimize the scar that might be left behind?

Hi, More chances of acanthosis nigricans but even vitamin B 12 deficiency may lead to hyperpigmentations on skin. It is really difficult to analyse now. Anyways , Chemical peels and skin lightening creams followed by a broad spectrum sunblock will show a remarkable effect. Thanks.
Hi,thanks for the question. Gluthathione tablets along with injectable gluthathione injections done every weekly does help in making your skin 2-3 shades lighter. But later maintenance and skin care is important.Consult a board certified dermatologist for the same.
These can be improved with a combination of lasers, Aerolase, microneedling/prp, skin lightening, peels, and skin care. Sun protection is essential. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a scarring expert. Best, Dr. Emer
