Will hair grow back after a skin tag was removed from my scalp?

I got a procedure to remove a skin tag on the back of head. There is no longer any hair in the spot is was removed. Will hair be able to growth back?

Hair growth after skin tag removal depends on how the procedure was performed and whether the hair follicles in the area were damaged.
If the skin tag was removed without affecting the hair follicles, hair growth should not be affected and hair should grow back over time. However, if the removal process involved deeper layers of the skin and damaged the hair follicles, it might prevent hair from growing back in that specific area.

If the skin tag was small and the removal didn’t involve deep layers of skin or damage to the hair follicles, the hair may grow back over time. However, if the removal involved deeper tissue or destroyed the hair follicles in that area, it's possible that the hair won't regrow naturally.
In cases where hair follicles have been permanently damaged, treatments like hair transplant surgery can be an option to restore hair growth in that spot. If you're concerned about how the area is healing or whether the hair will return, I recommend giving the site time to fully heal and monitoring it over the next few months. If it's a punch biopsy unfortunately hair will not grow back in that area because it is trauma to the hair follicles. Skin tag removal it usually grows back but may take months
