I had a severe bout of acne about a decade ago which left me with some extensive scarring on my arms which look like hypopigmented spots. I am around fitzpatrick 4-5 and do not have a tendency to form keloids - I have pretty extensive scarring from my acne on my back and arms and none formed keloids. Can pretreatment with hydroquinone help reduce risk of hyperpigmentation with lazer treatment modality?
