I'm considering Vivace as a finishing treatment after other acne scar treatments (I've had decent results so far with TCA Cross and subcision). However, I'm concerned about the subset of reviews I read that report long lasting "holes," scarring and other awful side effects. However, other reviews are glowing. What factors could lead to a bad outcome - E.g. is it experience/technique of the doctor, skin type, or something else that could mean the difference between a good / bad result? Thanks!

Infini RF is a popular device but I love Intensif much more because they are non insulated needles. Vivace has insulated needles, but may require more treatments. Most importantly though, I always do microneedling with PRP for the best results. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
