I am looking into getting either vivace or ultherapy done and not sure which way to go. Which is better for wrinkles?

Fractional laser is an amazing and highly effective treatment in our office. We use the laser treatment to help with acne scars, large pores, fine wrinkles, tissue collagen loss, scars, sebaceous hyperplasia, active acne, and for brightening dark pigmentation. Although there are very strong fractional lasers such as CO2 laser, we use lighter treatments for corrective skincare and maintenance of results. Our Thulium fractional laser, clear and brilliant laser, and Ultra Thulium laser are excellent options in our clinic. We also perform CO2 fractional and erbium depending on skin tone and tolerance for downtime. Patients do have to use a Melarase cream before and after treatment to help further reduce pigmentation after laser. Melarase AM, Melarase PM, and Melapads can seriously improve surface sun damage and UV related pigmentation. Dark spots can improve with these treatments. I recommend fractional laser for incisional scars as well, especially after plastic surgery.

A combination approach would give the most improvement with Ultherapy for neck skin tightening. I recommend Ultherapy with radiofrequency treatments, lasers, microneedling/PRP, and/or Sculptra to get increased collagen, tightening and improved skin tone. Hello! Vivace utilizes three different modalities to tighten skin. 1 - microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, to create elasticity, shrink pores, and thicken the epidermis. 2 - red light therapy to stimulate oxygenation, circulation and collagen growth. 3 - RF power to tighten the skin. This is an unbeatable combination to restore youthful contours and achieve overall lifting and tightening. If you're looking for something to both tighten and alleviate fine lines and wrinkles then vivace is the answer.  It has both microneedling and radio frequency.  Radio frequency will tighten the skin while microneedling builds collagen in the skin and improves texture and lines.  Ultherapy mainly tightens.  You will also have less downtime with vivace than you will with ultherapy.
