Does hydrocortisone 2.5 affect or break the filler (Radiesse) in my face? (Photo)

Hi doctors ! Am going through red hyper pigmentation in my face due to an aggressive chemical peel done 2 weeks ago . The dermatologist gave me an hydrocortisone 2.5 and asked me to do blue light therapy a week to treat the red pigmentation . Do my of these affect or my radiess filler in my face ? Any suggestion to speed up the recovery I appreciate .

No, this will not negatively impact your Radiesse treatment. Facial redness can be improved with lasers (ProYellow, Excel V, VBeam), light stim and microneedling/prp. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Your redness can be treated with Excel V and/or (more gently with) Genesis V lasers.  It is unlikely that your use of hydrocortisone will do anything to the Radiesse filler.  Best of luck!

Hydrocortisone is not effective in dissolving dermal fillers.  Light treatments has no effect on dermal fillers as well. IPL is effective in reducing redness of the skin.
