I know staying hydrated, getting enough sleep, exercise and good nutrition are all very important to prevent premature aging. I'm curious if there are any other recommendations for women in their late 20s to prevent wrinkles. I'm considering starting Retin-A cream but looking for other suggestions as well. Thank you.

Retin-A is Vitamin A. It speeds up the cell turnover rate. It will not create a scar and it will not make a scar go away. It is a great option for anti aging. If you are concerned with your scar, I would recommend a series of microneedling treatments, or dermal filler such as Bellafill.
