I have a cafe au lait birthmark on my upper eyelid of about 1cm in diameter and in color of a cafe au lait. A plastic surgeon told me it is unsafe to do laser on eyes, with possibilities of scarring, darker, change of skin texture etc. A dermatologist suggested I use hydroquione but it has been weeks, there's no result but skin peeling. He suggested cryotherapy but I read scarring is possible. It is on the eyelid so any type of scarring of change is going to be very obvious. What are my options?
