There is nothing you can do at this point, just leave the area alone unless you see a large bruise.  If there is significant swelling, an NSAID is good to help bring this down.  Otherwise you have to wait and see what happens.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Depending on the technique, the most common complication is bruising. Swelling is expected, so it is not really a complication. Sometimes the procedure may need to be repeated if the fat is absorbed and disappears. Scarring is also possible as are lumps if the fat accumulates in clumps....
