Yes I know "when done correctly" at your practice the results are fabulous. But the bad results are from what? Is it over-treatment? Even in a question posted on this website for a necklift, a doctor asked a lady if she had done Ultherapy because her neck skin looked so strangely loose and bunched up so doctor said are definitely AWARE it can have negative effects but WHY? Is it just bad luck and happens to some random people? I imagine it has to be the fault of the protocol used...
Answer: Ultherapy Hello and thank you for your question! Ultherapy is a great tool which can yield optimal results when the candidate is fully educated on the expected outcome. This treatment also happens over a 6 month course, therefore the client must understand the time frame and have appropriate follow up. Ultherapy can certainly work very well and does not have any downtime. Which does make the treatment desirable for many. Having said this, Ultherapy does not replace a face//necklift. Therefore the candidates for this procedure should be properly assessed and given realistic outcomes prior to treatment. I find our patients to be very satisfied with their Ultherapy experience and we see excellent results. Each person should have an individualized treatment plan specific to their needs and desires outcome. This will yield the best Ultherapy experience and the best outcomes. I hope this information helps and best of luck to you!

Answer: Ultherapy Misunderstood Ultherapy can give good results when done in proper hands on the proper patients. Most of the bad results or no results that you see are in patients who should have never gotten the treatment in the first place. Many people are not good candidates for the treatment. At my practice about 30% of patients that come in wanting Ultherapy are not good candidates for the treatment and we recommend more appropriate treatments to them. Also, Ultherapy is just a tool which in different hands will yield different results. Most med-spas or "technicians" which perform the procedure use a cookie cutter approach for every patient. This can lead to suboptimal results and adverse effects.Ultherapy is not a substitute for a facelift and will not give facelift results. It's used best as a preventative and maintenance treatment in combination with other treatments such as Botox, Fillers, Lasers, etc. Most people that are educated about this and have realistic expectations are satisfied with their results.Hope this helps answer your question.

Answer: Bad Reviews for Ultherapy Ultherapy can work very well - when used in the correct patient. A lot of people who choose to undergo Ultherapy are not excellent candidates; they just do not want the downtime of a face/necklift. I often tell patients that to achieve good results with Ultherapy you need to be aware of its limitations - it is NOT going to give the same results as a facelift. At most, it's a subtle improvement. And, it happens over time! At least 6 months - so, for some patients it's tough to appreciate a difference without accurate before and after photos. All that being said, in the right patient - someone with good skin quality and minimal laxity - it can help to subtly lift. Best of luck!

Answer: Ultherapy and results - the truth. OK many reasons why. Firstly does this treatment work? Yes, but results and outcomes are determined by -1. Candidate selection. Just a guide out of 5 patients who ask for Ultherapy we only perform 3 out of the 5. In our practice in Brisbane Australia, 40% of candidates who ask for this treatment are not suitable. This is because of several reasons. Firstly the jowls or area is too heavy. Secondly sun damage maybe too excessive and hence collagen is ' fragmented' (most common cause to say no in our practice).2. Technique. This is critical in delivering the best outcome. At times the company's protocol needs to be broken to deliver the best results. Technique comes with meticulous movements and number of lines, or shots fired in the correct areas. 3. Time. It take time before collagen contracts and remodels. It may take up to 4-6 months to see the best results. A review at 2 months may not be indicative of the best results. Ultherapy is only one method to achieve a goal, its not the only device, so appropriate use of this system is needed. I hope this answers most of the questions regarding the truth of Ultherapy - at the end of the day, I think if all things are equal (training etc...) it comes down to candidate selection.
