Can an elevated DHEAS of 475 cause hair loss?

I have an elevated DHEAS level of 475. But ALL other hormone levels and blood test were in normal range. PCOS was ruled out. Could this elevated DHEAS level have anything to do with my hair loss? Has been on going for 10 months.

In my opinion, it is normal to lose approximately 100 hairs per day. Should your hair loss be in excess of that amount, I recommend you visit at hairless expert. They will do a good history and magnified exam. There are many treatments that work well for hair loss of a genetic nature....

How hard should you rub 5% minoxidil on your thinning hair?

Do not rub it in hard as this can cause damage, but Rogaine needs to be used forever to increase the hair growth and prevent its loss. I have found progesterone and PRP combination work better. There are non surgical routes for hair loss as well, I suggest seeking an expert. Best, Dr. Emer.
