Punch excision or TCA cross for enlarged pore? (Photo)

Question

I have a single enlarged pore that got stretched open from a needle picking a pimple. It’s about 1mm in diameter. Would TCA cross or a punch excision work best? My local dermatologist suggested both treatments. Was told that tca cross is risky and could make it worse/bigger. Was suggested to do a 1mm punch excision with fraxel dual 1550 nm on the same day. I have fair sensitive skin. Co2 laser is not option for me because i did it once and was left red for about 3-4 months after. Thanks.

FIRST, I APOLOGIZE FOR THE CAPS. THERE IS A GLITCH IN THE PROGRAM AND EVERYTHING IS COMING OUT IN CAPS.. 
I HAVE BEEN USING TCA CROSS FOR ABOUT TWENTY-FIVE YEARS FOR TREATING ICE PICK SCARS, DILATED PORES AND EVEN PIERCING HOLES WITH VERY GRATIFYING RESULTS. THE TREATMENT TAKES SECONDS TO PERFORM, IS INEXPENSIVE AND TYPICALLY ENGENDERS LITTLE TO NO SIGNIFICANT DOWNTIME AND THE NEED FOR ANY EXPENSIVE FRAXEL LASER TREATMENT AFTERWARD.. 
PUNCH EXCISION IS ESSENTIALLY A SURGERY USING A COOKIE CUTTER, RATHER THAN A SCALPEL AND, AS SUCH THERE IS THE SUBSEQUENT POSSIBILITY FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF A STRETCH SCAR AND EVEN STITCH TRACKS. 
SO, THINK ABOUT IT THIS WAY. SUPPOSE YOU GET IT TREATED WITH TCA CROSS AND GET THE UNLIKELY RESULT OF SLIGHT WIDENING, YOU CAN ONLY DO THE PUNCH-EXCISION THEN.
KEEP IT SIMPLE IS MOST OFTEN THE RIGHT APPROACH.  HOPE THIS HELPS, AND AGAIN, SORRY FOR THE CAPS.
