Is the healing time less with Neodent Acqua implants?

Is 2 months healing time enough with the implants called "neodent acqua"? Dentist says healing time is much less than with traditional implants, said 2 months is enough time with this type of implant.

healing is natural process. it takes around 4 to 6 months time. there is no co-relation between implant brand and healing time. yes there is co-relation between implant type and restoration phase. for eg. in basal implants, patient can get teeth/prosthesis within 3 days, because no healing required in that implant type. in yr case, if healing is fast and done, u can go for prosthesis.

The Acqua surface has been shown to enhance the BIC (Bone to Implant Contact) percentage of the Neodent Acqua implant to bone. More BIC has been shown within fewer days vs. conventional implants, this means more bone faster (Integration). Most all implants will be healed for clinical procedures within 3-4 months. Several companies have surfaces treatments which promote integration. Acqua is Neodent's premium implant and may carry a higher cost than a conventional implant.  Many of these surface modified implants can be restored with a final prosthesis at 2 months of placement in normal bone. I usually let all my implants heal for a minimum of 3 months no matter what the surface treatment. The ultimate downside is having to replace a failed implant which will cost you much more time and effort if you rush the case. Rely upon your dental implant specialist to determine the best time to restore your dental implant.
