Thank you for your question. I generally recommend waiting until all the swelling is down before engaging in sexual activity. So typically two weeks would be fine. However, I would not recommend a lot breast manipulation as part of your sexual activities until you are closer to six weeks.

Each surgeon has his or her own guidelines for postoperative care. Light activities generally can resume 3 to 5 days post surgery. More strenuous activity can resume 1 to 6 months post surgery. Consult your surgeon as he or she knows the scope of the surgery and the specifics about you.

All vigorous physical activity should be restricted for 2 weeks following breast implant surgery.  After that a common sense approach should be used, if it hurts, stop the activity.  It will be about 4-6 weeks before you will be able to resume full activity.  This does vary from patient to patient and you should check with your PS for activity restrictions.

Yes it is possible to have sexual activity after  breast augmentation surgery. I would  suggest using common sense guidelines such as: avoiding direct pressure or significant manipulation of the implants for the 1st 3 weeks.

I would avoid exertional acitivity for 3-4 weeks related to sex and limit manipulation of the implants with regards to sexual acitivities.
