Is It Safe to Do Sculptra Butt Lift with Butt Implants?

Hi, I have butt implants. Is it safe to have sculptra butt lift combined with my implants? I would like to have a little more coverage over the implants and fill in my hip dips. My butt implants procedure was done on December 20 2022.

You should be safe getting a sculptra BBL with implants in place. Butt implants are either placed under the gluteal muscles or right on top of them. A sculptra BBL is superficial to that and is typically performed right under the skin. Make sure you got to someone that has experience with sculptra BBLs and let them know about your implants.

Your answer to your question is it depends. Not every provider is comfortable injecting Sculptra into the areas where previous surgery was performed. Then, not every provider knows how to do so as it depends on their experience and comfort level and also on the result you are trying to achieve.
I have had many patients with butt implants and I was able to safely and easily inject Sculptra to complement their desired result. 
In short, the answer is: yes it is possible and it depends on who you ask.

Combining Sculptra Butt Lift with Butt Implants may not be safe and could increase the risk of complications. Sculptra is a type of filler that stimulates collagen production in the skin, resulting in a subtle lifting effect. Butt implants, on the other hand, are surgically placed silicone or saline implants designed to add volume and shape to the buttocks.

While both procedures are generally safe when performed individually by a qualified and experienced plastic surgeon, combining them may increase the risk of complications such as infection, implant shifting, or tissue damage. Additionally, combining these procedures could lead to an unnatural or disproportionate appearance.

It is important to discuss your goals and concerns with a qualified provider who can evaluate your individual case and recommend the best treatment plan for you. They may recommend one procedure over the other, or suggest an alternative approach to achieve your desired results.

Once you have been cleared (generally 12 weeks or more) by your implant surgeon to receive the sub-dermal and sub-cutaneous Sculptra injections you may proceed. Please consult with a skilled Sculptra Injector to diminish your risk of adverse issues.
