What are the risks associated with a Sculptra BBL and how long should I expect my results to last?

Although its been a trend for years, it's one of the biggest frauds ever in cosmetic medicine, especially with non-permanent fillers. The cost of these products are astronomical, and have been priced that way for small consumption on the face, not for the high volume necessary for the buttocks. The most common number of Sculptra vials used for BBLs is 20, and the cost about $10,000 to $20,000. Seems legitimate until you do the math. 20 vials of Sculptra on a good day will likely give you 20 cc of augmentation, or about 50 time less volume than an average fat transfer BBL of 500 cc per cheek. So, multiply $10000 times 50 and you see that comes in at a cool half million dollars. And then watch it melt away over the next couple of years. Get it? This is why I only use Bellafill, a permanent injectable implant made out of microspheres of plastic, and I only do subtle hip dips that need only 50 to 100 cc at the most to fill (still a huge investment).

Sculptra BBL is an excellent choice for thin individuals who are lacking extra fat for transfer to the buttocks. As with any procedure, there are risks, but those risks are reduced to almost nothing when the procedure is done by an expert plastic surgeon.
