I had a septorhinoplasty 2.5 weeks ago. I very gently blew and then pulled mucus out of my nose. Could I have caused damage?

I can breathe so much better but I am worried I may have done damage? No blood. The mucus was a clear with some brown very thick sticky mass. The thickest I have ever experienced. . I can breathe better and might be being paranoid but I wonder if my nostril looks a tad larger. Was the mucus a normal part of the healing process that I shouldn't have removed or am I okay?
