How can I cure skin burn/darkness on my neck? It was caused by me using a cream containing hydroquinone for 1 year. (photos)

I used hydroquinone containing cream in 2013-14 to get rid of tan and got good results then I kept using it for almost a year and stopped using it. Since then my neck started getting darker and now it is too dark. I went to laser treatment center but they said they don’t wanna give treatment because my skin was damaged by hydroquinone. So I used some other creams which didn’t work at all. I’m not sure it happened because of hydroquinone or something else. Please give me best suggestion. Thanks

Thank you for your question and posting pictures.  It looks and sounds like you might have Post Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation (PIH).  I'm not sure why people are still freezing pigment.  The results are not predictable and can make it worse.  We have been very successful using the PicoSure laser with the FOCUS and / or Flat Lenses eliminating hyperpigmentation with a series of treatments.  FOCUS lens treatments have the extra benefit of reducing the underlying scar tissue.  This is one of our go to treatments for patients older than 40 and worried about the signs of aging.  This laser is safe for all skin types.  Start with sunscreen every day!  Once you have treated your hyperpigmentation to your satisfaction, you will probably need a follow treatment every 6 to 12 months depending your level of re-pigmentation.  Best of luck.
