Can bonding of the back teeth help give your bite and face more height?

i want to give the lower half of my face more height. Can bonding material be added to the biting surfaces of the back teeth to give more space to my bite, giving me the appearance of a longer face?

Adding to the back teeth is traditionally done with porcelain to increase vertical domension(open the bite) which gives the appearance of a longer face, younger appearance.  When  the back teeth are added to, it causes a space between the front teeth, so you must also add to the front teeth to have them meet when your bite is closed.  This process is called full mouth or full arch reconstruction.  It is quite expensive when done in porcelain, but a great value because it will stand the test of time.  This procedure can be done by bonding composite to your back teeth and front teeth at a much more reasonable cost. However, composite is a plastic and will wear over time and will be subject to repairs periodically, especially on the front teeth.  Not many doctors are willing to take on this kind of case with composite.  But the answer to your question is yes, it can be done. You just need to be aware of and accept the risks and limitations using a composite resin material instead of porcelain.
