I have done 3 rounds of the micro needling Rf for my acne scars and have seen an improvement, but I hear that profound is more effective for acne scars. I wanted to know the difference. If profound is more effective I will switch over.

Answer: Profound for acne scars Profound works to create new collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid. I haven't found that it's particularly effective in treating acne scars because we use it at much deeper depths than this - like a non-surgical facelift. For patients with acne scarring I recommend InMode Fractora, which is a radio frequency device combined with microneedling. It's much more effective than microneedling alone, but targets more superficial levels where scarring is. "This answer has been solicited without seeing this patient and cannot be held as true medical advice, but only opinion. Seek in-person treatment with a trained medical professional for appropriate care."
