Fasting and weight loss after filler?

Hello, I am going to get my cheeks injected on monday morning, i usually get this treatment twice a year to keep my cheeks full. For spiritual purposes i usually fast for two weeks once a year and my meditation group has decided to gather and start the fasting on monday afternoon. Will my freshly injected filler be affected by the fasting? Do you reccomed to re booking the appointment after these two weeks? Thanks

While fasting may not directly alter the fillers, making sure you have adequate fluid intake and nutrition is really important for the integration and recovery from fillers. Fasting can sometimes alter the immune system and limit the body's ability to recover. Two weeks likely won't make a huge different in the timing out of the year and you may consider delaying your filler injection so you can focus on both your fasting and then later your recovery. Hi, thank you for your question! I would recommend postponing your appointment until after the two week fasting period. Fasting can fluctuate your weight which would in turn affect the filler just due to weight loss.
