How large of a gap between Invisalign tray and teeth is acceptable? (Photo)

I’m on tray 3 of Invisalign Lite (just put in tonight) and I am concerned about the gap that is between the tray and my teeth. This was also apparent on my last tray as well. I use chewies while I’m in hour long classes so way more than actually necessary and I’m concerned the trays aren’t fitting right. Should I be calling my orthodontist?

I am sorry to hear your aligners are not fitting. I highly recommend calling your doctor and sharing your concerns. It is suggested by invisalign to wear aligners anywhere from 22-24 hours continue with chewies ( compress chewies 10-15 seconds doing this for 2-5 minutes several times throughout the day). You can always wear your aligners more days as prescribed by your doctor.

You are definitely off track.Go back to your dentist and have the contacts relieved with a diamond strip and restart treatment by going back to aligner set 1.Be sure to bite on a chewy or cotton roll daily for at least 15 minutes to seat tour aligners fully to engage the attachments and stretch the periodontal ligaments daily.
