Is it bad to wait 2 weeks to get a bracket replaced?

One of my top back brackets came off and my appointment is in 2 weeks is it bad for me to wait. Last time I called to see if they could fix my loose bracket they told me to wait till my next appointment. So now I have one loose one and one off is it bad for me to wait and will the process be messed up?
