Q-Switched Lasers, MedLite C6 or the Astanza trinity? I'm getting different quotes for tattoo removal, one place that I've gone to were going to charge me $550 per session and another location charging me $289 per session & another location $489 per session. I would like to know which laser is the best? My tattoo is black with no colors, it’s on my arm but it’s pretty big. I just don’t want to get rip off.

Dear andrebarborsa,
Thank you for your clinical
post. Cosmetic tattooing for cutaneous
pigment irregularities on some areas of the body particularly the face, body
scars or depigmenting diseases [ph] is usually unsuccessful. Unfortunately, the ink used can sometimes
oxidize to a black or grey...
If all all possible, they should try to laser the tattoo before surgical excision. Laser is better option than surgical excision.BestDr Karamanoukian#RealSelf100 Member
Thank you for your Q. Post an updated picture at 1 week. Topical neosporin will reduce local skin infection and you should follow up with the laser physician.Dr Karamanoukian#RealSelf100 Member
