If you suspect excess scar tissue forming, please stay out of the sun, as it is known that sunshine on the dorsum of the nose can prompt robust scar-tissue formation. If poly beak deformity is foreseen in the recovery period, steroid injection is a very effective solution to prevent this complication. Genereally beginning from the second month of the surgery 2 doses of steroid injections, (1 inj/month) are sufficient in the management.
