Can I Remove a Tattoo That I Got Yesterday?

I got a tattoo yesterday its a quarter moon and three stars, it is located on the inside of my right ankle. Sadely the moon did not come out the way i wanted, the stars are ok but i want to get rid of the moon. It is in black and it is not filled.

Yes, you can certainly have a cover up tattoo after laser tattoo removal is performed.  Before going down that road, you may want to wait up to 2-3 years after the treatment as the faint outline of the tattoo should and will continue to fade until eventually is not visible any longer...

Laser can fade such pignment but there is a chance that the orange could turn darker and might need multiple treatments and sometimes it is difficult to fade this color.It's worthwhile to see a laser expert that has several lasers of different wavelengths.

You should ask your pharmacist for a behind-the-counter numbing cream such as EMLA, or L-Max 4 which I think works better, but you need to be careful not to apply this to a large surface area as this can cause toxicity. The best is to call your doctor's office who will be doing the laser...

Unfortunately, because pinks and also yellows are the closest colors to natural skin color in caucasions, and lasers are designed not to damage skin, lasers do not remove these colors well.  If they did, they would burn your skin as well.  Blues and blacks are the easiest colors...
