Is it normal to have stinging itchy inside my lips of my vagina after laser hair removal?

It’s itchy & am told it’s getting darker in the area (told by laser place it’s normal to get darker) and it’s a bit swollen and I think pinker as well? It’s around the whole inside lips area (my lips cover everything) and then toward the anus area my area between there also my anus was treated with laser removal? Thanks for your help.
