Hi, i have recently purched the illuminage precise touch laser hair removal device from Sephora. The instructions state that i have to discontinue the use of all AHA/BHA chemical peels, Salicylic acid, glycolic acid & lactic acid products 2 weeks prior to treatment. However these products are a must to keep my skin from breaking out (especially my cheeks). I am only treating my chin/neck area, so do i have to discontinue the use of these products ONLY on my chin/neck, or over the full face?

You can have topical anesthetic cream applied before your treatment to make it less painful. It adds about 20 to 30 minutes to the procedure but well worth it if you are sensitive. A dermatologist can inject local anesthetic, but this is rarely necessary.
