Is this realistic for liquid rhinoplasty? (Photo)

Question

I really want to get my liquid rhinoplasty, as I am not interested in surgical rhinoplasty. My question is, is this feasible with liquid rhinoplasty? I was also concerned with the risks associated with rhinoplasty. Could I achieve something close to this with threads or just Botox? Thank you!!

The short answer to your question is a resounding yes. We have been treating nasal bridge bumps and humps with fillers for about 25 years already. It's a simple procedure, which, in experienced hands, takes about ten minutes to perform with immediate, on-the-spot results. It sounds like your primary concern is the shape and rotation of your nasal tip—one of the most common reasons people seek out both primary and revision rhinoplasty. Because your issues are due to the underlying anatomy of your nose (bony and cartilaginous framework), which would have to be carefully reshaped to give your desired results, your specific issues can only be properly addressed through rhinoplasty—fillers won't help.

Many surgeons overlook key techniques that can otherwise soften the appearance of underlying structures in the nose, significantly improving tip symmetry, rotation, and refinement. These specialized maneuvers require a high level of expertise and experience, which most surgeons simply do not have. Given your history, an open septorhinoplasty would be the best approach to precisely reshape your nasal tip, refine the bridge, and restore overall balance.

In addition to reshaping your nose aesthetically, your septal cartilage (or an alternative graft material) would be used to create structural grafts, reinforcing key areas like the columella (the strip of tissue between your nostrils). This is crucial to maintaining long-term symmetry and preventing future distortions.

Rhinoplasty is one of the most technically demanding procedures in all of plastic surgery—millimeters make all the difference. If a surgeon is only performing one or two rhinoplasties per month, they simply do not have the level of experience necessary to achieve the best possible result. Liquid rhinoplasty refers to the practice of nonsurgical alteration in the appearance of your nose, primarily using filler. Camouflaging a dorsal hump is the most common application. Tip rotation is possible, but very limited.

Liquid rhinoplasty is not FDA approved, it's only temporary, and can have significant complications such as skin necrosis. Skin necrosis would require extensive nasal reconstruction.  Trying to add filler in the tip of the nose is even more risky than the bridge of the nose. Strongly consider getting a surgical closed rhinoplasty procedure to address all of your concerns in a three-dimensional fashion.
