Is my astigmatism severe?

I'm having a hard time trying to understand my contact prescription. The last time I saw an eye Dr was months ago and my insurance doesn't cover routine eye exams or contacts. I remember he said that my astigmatism was rare because it's not diagonal or horizontal. Can someone tell me if my astigmatism is considered moderate or severe? This is what is on my lens boxes: Right eye - BC 8.7 DIA 14.5 PWR -6.00 CYL -1.25 AX 030 Left eye BC 8.7 DIA 14.5 PWR -6.00 CYL -1.25 AX 150

Your astigmatism is mild by most standards. It should easily be corrected by contacts ( with many options) or most laser vision correction systems in the US.

Your astigmatism is mild and the biggest contributor to your poor vision is your more severe nearsightedness. Your astigmatism is diagonal, not vertical or horizontal, and not really rare.
