Shedding didn't stop after initial 2-3 weeks of 5% Minoxidil. Should I discontinue or give a break?

prior to that i used a formula with biotin for 3 months and got some baby hair but hairfall didnt stop. all medical reports are clear and we dont have a family history of hairfall. someone suggested using mineral water to wash hair and take a week off minoxidil to see if its actually minoxidil thats worsening the hair fall.

Fenasteride can be used for long years, however it is better to do this with breaks. if you use it for a year than i would recommend to take a break for 2 months. other than that if you are planning on using it for a long time, get your hormonal checks done regularly

Initiating treatment can cause an initial shedding period, which should stabilize.  You typically need to continue hair therapy for 11-12 months before seeing significant results.  Good luck!

There is no scientific evidence that Redensyl is better than minoxidil although the claims are very aggressive, mtoo much so
