I got a VI Peel on Friday and it is now Sunday. I am peeling around my nose and mouth quite a bit, and I am expecting more peeling the next few days. I am not touching the peeling, and I know not peeling the skin off my face. However, I unfortunately have a lot of meetings this week as well as a few classes. Do you recommend anything to speed the process (lots of moisturizer, less moisturizer, aquaphor, etc)?? Bad timing to get a peel, but this was an “emergency” peel that had to be done now!

Yes - you can shower the same day after a VI Peel, but avoid running your face under extremely hot water! We recommend washing your face prior to showering with the instructions given to you in your take home kit, and showering your body only
You should never pick at or peel your skin during a chemical peel. It will create problems such as scarring, hyper-pigmentation, or redness. You may need to do the peel again to correct it.
Hi, thank you for your question! We recommend following the steps of the VI peel kit that you are sent home with. After that you can use your daily moisturizer while you are peeling. We always recommend moisturizing until the dryness is gone. Aquaphor can be used in areas that are more dry...
